Some Physical Parameters of Poly (Vinylidene fluoride) in N, N- Dimethyl Formamide at Different Temperature and Concentrations

Abstract

Density, Refractive index, Ultrasonic Velocity and Coefficient of Viscosity have been measured for solution of Poly (vinylidene fluoride) (PVF2) in N, N-Dimethyl Formamide (DMF) at different temperature and concentration. These measurements have been used for computing molar compressibility (b), adiabatic compressibility (bad),  Rao number (Ra), space filling factor (s), Specific refraction (rD) and Van der wads constant (b) by refractive index as well as by ultrasonic velocity method of PVF2 in DMF for different temperature concentration. The deviation of these physical parameters with various concentrations at several temperatures has been studied to identify the molecular interaction arising in the mentioned polymer solution which is used to find solute - solvent interaction.
